Tellus Venia is a simpler, more affordable line of the estate that owns renowned Saint-Emilion grand cru Chateau Belregard Figeac. The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards that border the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. It is predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc in the blend that provides additional structure to the wine. Using only stainless steel and concrete tanks, without oak barrels, highlights pure characteristics of the fruits. The wine is rich with aromas of plum, and dark berries. The vineyard is managed meticulously with leaf trimming and minimum chemical use.
