Region: Niagara, Canada.
Grape: Vidal Blanc
Grapes are left on the vines until winter chill covers then with ice, thus the name. Then, the grapes are pressed while frozen to get a super concentrated juice. The result is very aromatic rich wine. This richly textured wine displays fresh tropical aromas of papaya, mango and aprocot. Bold fruit flavors balanced with fine acidity caress the palate and conclude with an exquisite silky finish. Nestled into 11.5 acres of the Niagara Peninsla, the Niagara Estate vineyard makes the most of this cool climate viticulture region.
Food Pairings: Great with aged cheese or dessert, etc.
